East High Boosters brings families, alumni, and community members together to support the full breadth of student experiences at Madison East. As an all‑school, community‑run 501(c)(3), we help make opportunities possible across athletics, clubs, and school activities by providing grants and funding that help remove barriers, expand access, and allow every student to participate fully in the East experience.

For the 2026–27 school year, we have committed to a $60,000 Giving Plan to ensure consistent, predictable support for needs across East:

• $15,000 to the Principal
• $15,000 to the Athletic Director
• $15,000 in club, athletic and activity grants
• $15,000 toward a capital project improving wayfinding signage to make East more navigable and welcoming

How We Raise Money

To fund our Giving Plan, we rely on a mix of community-powered efforts:

• Concessions at home athletic events
• Dining Out nights with local partners (click HERE for the 2026-27 lineup!)
• Merchandise sales
• Donations
• Major annual events, like Party For Purgolders, our Silent Auction, and the Great East Side Bakeoff & Community Bake Sale

These efforts make it possible for us to support every student at East — not just one team or program.

Why It Matters

Boosters support helps ensure that cost isn’t a barrier to participation, that programs have what they need to thrive, and that students can explore interests, build community, and take part in the full East experience. When our community contributes — whether through volunteer time, financial donations, or showing up at events — students feel it.
