Grants | East High School Boosters

The Booster Club provides small grants to East High teams, clubs, and school groups to support student participation, learning, enrichment, and accessibility. Grants help cover costs that make activities possible for students, from equipment to enrichment experiences to consumable items that remove barriers to participation.

How to Apply:

Confirm eligibility: Requests must be submitted by a teacher, coach, club advisor, or school staff member. Parents and students cannot submit grant requests.
Verify program status: The activity must be officially recognized by East High and occur within the next 12 months.
Review grant program guidelines: The full grant policy, approved by the Boosters Board on 8.25.26, is available here.
Prepare your budget: Include a clear cost estimate or vendor link for the item(s) you’re requesting.
Provide context: Explain why this request requires Booster support rather than another funding source.
Submit the online form: Complete the electronic request form by the cycle’s due date.
Be available for questions: A representative from your group must be reachable by the Principal, AD, or Booster Board.
Watch for notification: You’ll receive an email within one week of the vote.
Funding distribution: Approved funds are sent to the school, which disburses them to your team, club, or group.

Seed money for fundraisers
Durable items used by multiple students or groups
Enrichment experiences, such as workshops, trainings, or guest coaches/instructors
Consumable items that remove barriers to participation

Personalized items
Food
Staff compensation
Retroactive expensives
Requests intended to replace normal fundraising
Requests exceeding 20% of the cycle’s available funds (in the 2026-27 school year, individual grants cannot exceed $1,000)
