About Us

East Boosters supports student engagement through clubs, athletics, and enrichment. We’re one of the few all‑school Booster organizations in Dane County, and we’re passionate about helping East students thrive. We manage a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides grants to clubs and teams, coordinates fundraising events, runs concessions, and supports communication and community‑building across the East community. Every dollar raised goes directly toward expanding opportunities for students.

Meetings

East Boosters holds monthly board meetings, and everyone is welcome. We operate with transparency and want people to feel comfortable joining us, listening in, asking questions, and getting involved at whatever level is right for them.

A typical meeting includes discussion of upcoming events, projects and goals; board member updates; grant requests from clubs, teams and academic programs; votes on financial matters; and open time for questions, ideas and comments from anyone attending.

Meetings are held at East, follow a consistent and easy‑to‑follow format, and last about ninety minutes. We loosely use Robert’s Rules to keep things moving, but the tone is friendly and collaborative rather than formal. You can participate actively or simply listen: attending is participating, and there are zero commitments or expectations.

We know that busy lives make it hard to attend every meeting. We strive to post minutes in a timely fashion and welcome your comments, questions or ideas anytime.
