Who We Are
East High Boosters is one of the only all‑school boosters organizations in Dane County, bringing families, alumni, and community members together to support the full breadth of student experiences at Madison East. As a community‑run 501(c)(3), we work across athletics, clubs, and school activities to help ensure students have access to the opportunities, materials, and support they need to thrive. Every dollar we raise goes directly to East students.
How We Work
Boosters operates as a volunteer‑run nonprofit with a board that oversees fundraising, financial stewardship, communications, and organizational support for East teams, clubs, and activities. We partner closely with coaches, advisors, staff, and administration to make sure resources flow where they’re needed most, providing core operational support in several areas:
Fiscal Agency (501(c)(3) Support
Teams and clubs can use Boosters as their fiscal agent, allowing them to receive tax‑deductible donations, apply for grants, and have funds held securely until they’re ready to make purchases. This ensures programs can operate with transparency and flexibility.
Point‑of‑Sale (POS) System & Card Readers
Boosters maintains a POS system and card readers that teams and clubs can borrow for events, merchandise sales, and fundraisers. This makes it easy to accept credit card payments and run smooth, professional‑looking sales operations.
Concessions Fundraising Opportunities
Teams and clubs can earn money by staffing concession shifts at East sporting events. Boosters manages the inventory, equipment, and setup — groups simply show up, run the stand, and earn funds for their program.
Promotion & Communications Support
Boosters helps amplify team and club events, fundraisers, and announcements through our mailing list, social media, and community channels. This ensures your efforts reach families, alumni, and supporters across the East community.
Grant Process
Boosters offers grants for start‑up needs, equipment, materials, and enrichment opportunities. The grant process is designed to be simple, transparent, and accessible to all East programs.

We operate with transparency and want people to feel comfortable joining us, listening in, asking questions, and getting involved at whatever level is right for them. Meetings are open to everyone, and include updates on fundraising, operations, grants, and upcoming events, along with open time for questions and ideas from anyone attending.
